The Secret Movie, Holding The Vision, Sample Visualization Script, Change Takes Motivation
If you liked What The Bleep, you will love The Secret Movie Ok, why am I hyping a movie? I'm excited that more and more people are bringing to mainstream media the fact that thoughts are things and we attract what we get. We ARE the 100th monkey!!!! First of all, the "secret" is the law of attraction and how to make it work for you. I believe The Abraham work via Esther Hicks teaches it best these days. Esther Hicks is in The Secret Movie, as well as Fred Alan Wolf (What The Bleep?) and notable others. It's a fun movie and gives specific techniques to follow to attract what you want into your life. One particularly fun segment to watch is the visualization about the new car!
Holding The Vision Here is a script of my latest Visualization Project: I took my place in front of my altar area and had my list at my side. On today's list were Thomas & Corinne, Deb & Dale, Terry & Sal, Joanne & Jackson. Thomas & Corrine were 2 local professionals who were moving into new office space. Deb & Dale had been together 10 years and were working to strengthen their relationship with each other. Terry & Sal were in a home business together, and they were preparing to welcome Terry's elderly father into their home. Joann and Jackson were both resolving health issues. My part in their process was to act as a visionkeeper. Why would anyone need a visionkeeper? It's not always easy to remember that someone who does not have much leisure time does not have much time to think lofty thoughts of a utopian world. Their focus is more likely on making sure they don't lose their job because they need to pay the bills and they have 4 mouths to feed. They're more focused on how many hours overtime they can work to help pay for the new refrigerator they finally got after 35 years, even though they're so tired they can barely make it through 40 hours a week at work. It is people like this that we can help hold the vision for. These are the ones that just can't do it for themselves just now and we can help hold the light for them, hold the vision of a more abundant tomorrow. It matters not what anyone else's perception is, it is our perception that colors our world. I have many friends who would love to live in the quiet stillness as I do. To me, it is a great joy to be in the silence and to have plenty of time to sit alone and meditate and do creative visualization. I have friends who are moms that have not been without continual interruption in their home for years - or decades - and I honor the path they chose to take. Their path is not my own. I am grateful to live in solitude and silence and be able to devote much time to inner work, prayer and meditation. I am happy to help hold the vision of a better world for those who are so enmeshed in their daily challenges and narrow view that they are unable to hold that vision for themselves. Some people I know have some serious challenges going on right now, and my job is to help them navigate their way through it, and help them hold the vision for what they want. It may feel overwhelming to them because of the past momentum involved, but is not difficult to someone who applies steady, focused thought power toward what they want their result to be. And that's the problem. When there are problems, we tend to be in an emotionally charged state and unable to keep attention on what we want. I am blessed to be able to go to a place of solitude and stillness often during the day, in order to regain perspective and balance. To purify the filter I see the world through. To touch that deep place within, to drink from that deep pond and refresh myself after becoming too involved in the mechanics of the physical world once I've allowed it to affect me. I have a sign over my altar that says "I come here to find myself because it is so easy to get lost in the world." I know that I can affect the mindset of the world, I can affect mass consciousness whether I am in front of another person or not, by the visionary inner work I do. By keeping in the quiet, I am able to more consciously stay singleminded in my focus. I am blessed to not have any responsibilities that keep me from being one that helps hold a vision for a group. I am blessed in that most of my time is my own and I do not have to answer to anyone. Change takes motivation, and not everyone is motivated. Most of us want to want to be motivated. We're often pushed by pain until we begin to be pulled by vision. All too often, we stay in the same circumstances until something propels us out of it. Yet all it takes is to want a new goal more than you want to stay in your old life before you can begin to move out of it. And a vision keeper can assist you in doing that. Here is my visionary script for Thomas and Corrine:
WHATEVER I SAY ON THIS LIST COMES TRUE
I ask that you read this a few times each day, even if the only time you read it is in the bathroom. That's a great time for a short meditative break in the day anyway. A med lite. This is an important exercise, it's like repeated laser treatment for an injury. Each time you do it, more blockage is removed. The path is made clearer with each reading, because you're reaching vibrational harmony with it as you read, and paving a road to it with your intention. So we begin now by setting a short intention:
Big breath.
Big breath.
Big breath. They are pleased as they look around the immaculate house, delighted with their new housekeeper, who clearly takes pride in her work and loves what she does. And how cool is it that her husband keeps the lawn in great shape and has even installed a corner garden shade area with a swing next to a small pond for the dogs to drink out of. An even bigger bonus is that they refer many paying clients! It's a joy to drive to the new office, we have so much more room to move around in here, offices for other practitioners and plenty of parking for the patients. You can feel the difference in the energy, walking into this new place. Everything fresh feeling and full of good chi. Smile and say chi! We sit a moment at the counter in the new kitchen and have our organic coffee while going over the schedule for the day. It's busy as usual, and today we have all the clients we most enjoy and we look forward to the interaction. The office is sparkling clean and each room has a warm, inviting presence. The new lighting system is amazing and so versatile; we literally have light overhead anywhere we reach for it. We are greeted by our office manager and given a quick update on the finances so far this week - good news again! We laugh, thinking back to the days long past where no one paid on time. These days, in the new economy, dollars flow more freely and job satisfaction is at an all time high. People are happier because everyone can pay their bills on time. We smile, thinking "Life is good for all of us. Thank you, God." We go over Thomas's upcoming speaking dates with the other chiropractor in the office, and are delighted to see that our schedules mesh in perfect timing. The office is booked through the speaking dates and all is in good hands. It feels good to have such good support staff, who all love what they do, and we're grateful for them. We truly feel like one big happy family, and we all feel we're making a difference. It feels good to spend time with others who are also guided by purpose, and seeking deeper meaning to their lives. People who know, as we do, that being involved in seemingly unrewarded service reaps benefits down the line in ways we could never imagine. Thomas' speaking schedule is booked up far in advance, and seminars are being well attended. They have been fun and illuminating sessions for all of us, and many new opportunities are presenting themselves. It feels like the karmic wheel is catching up and many good blessings are flowing our way. Everything we do brings money and more opportunity! We feel our circle of influence widen as we are guided to become involved with others to help more people in more ways. Life is becoming more rewarding and more meaningful every day. We make connections with sincere and helpful others, who genuinely want to help and have the ability, talent and resources to do so. It's a blessing to have an honest, dependable, efficient office manager who keeps the administrative end of things well organized and flowing so easily. We feel completely free to attend to our patients while she handles everything else. Corinne's clinical therapy practice is busy with clients who are serious about change and who appreciate the work she does. Her dvds are selling well, and she has a dependable fulfillment house taking care of the orders. It's the same one that handles the dvds of Thomas's presentations, and all products are selling well. We're getting good press! The last patient before lunch brings a thank you picnic basket with assorted yummy healthful delicacies from the new health food cafe down the street. The owners are also appreciative new patients who often gift us with a free lunch tray for the office. How cool is that? At the end of the day, our appointments synchronize so we get together for an early dinner. We go to our favorite place and are treated like royalty and our favorite specials are all on tonight's menu. We enjoy our alone time together and we enjoy talking about how good life is and how it's becoming better. To punctuate that, the owner of the restaurant, also a patient, comps our dinner. After we get home, we decide to walk down to the beach and it's beautiful in the evening twilight. We walk up and down the shore awhile, and do some chi gung and meditate together on the sand. We feel energized and rested as we head home. We walk into our house and it smells clean and fresh and looks sparkling. And a fresh baked, healthy snack is on the counter waiting for us! We sip good wine as we do an evening review of the day, and count our many blessings. We giggle as we feel like teenagers again, co-conspiring our hopeful futures and living our fun life together. We eagerly jump into our new bed and we both agree it is the best mattress we ever slept on! We both fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly. We awaken refreshed and completely rested and rejuvenated. We look forward to getting into our day, excited about what the day will bring, happy to know who and what is on the day's schedule.
Another day in Paradise! You can practice being the visionkeeper for your own group. See all personal situations in the lives of those around you being healed, and see all persons as healed and whole. Hold the vision of a better world, starting with where you are right now. The power of just one person with focused thought and intent can override the doubts and fears of an entire community. We've all seen in happen. And you can be the one person who remembers to hold the higher vision, wherever you go, whatever you see before you. You can be the one who remembers you are a powerful vortex of creat-ive energy and wherever you go, you take your power with you. When you show up shining, others reflect your light back to you. Everyone who is reading these words can take a role as a visionkeeper. We can take a few moments each day and evening to envision (imagine) breathing in all the fear and anxiety of the people who don't yet know how to connect with their Center, their Source, and breathe it on the outbreath up to God. We can breathe in the calm and quiet we personally feel, and offer it on the outbreath to everyone who needs it. We can begin practicing for the upcoming storm season, seeing everyone safe and happy whether there are storms or not. Seeing everyone feeling secure in their homes, knowing we can go an entire season with no storms, it's happened before. Some areas have gone years and years with mild weather, and that can be our experience this year. We can envision all storms moving along paths away from landfall. We can see everyone feeling relieved we're having such an easy season. We can see everyone being grateful we're getting the right amount of rain in the right places. We can feel everyone breathe a sigh of relief as they begin to sense the balance around them, and know that all truly is well. You can help hold this vision with me. You can sit for 5 minutes twice a day and visualize this, and generate within you the feeling that it is happening. Feeling the relief, feeling secure and confident. Then breathing that relief, that security out onto the neighborhood, the city, the state, the nation, the world. So, this month I've been reminded of or learned:
