Molecules of Emotion, controlling your brain chemistry via meditation
A reknowned neuroscientist, Pert was most recently featured in the movie What the Bleep Do We Know!? Pert is best known for her pivotal role in the discovery of opiate receptors - molecules that unlock cells in the brain so that morphine and other opiates, including the body's natural opiate, endorphins, can enter. Her research reveals how the bodymind functions as a single psychosomatic network of information molecules which control our health and physiology. What fascinates me is how you can emulate the opiate effect (via increasing serotonin and endorphin production) by changing your brain chemistry when you meditate and do creat-ive visualization. One of my missions in life is to turn everyone on to the fact that you can learn to do this yourself via meditation, and doing it will ease your anxieties, and that will begin for you a whole journey into body/mind/spirit balance. Once you tap into it, you will want to meditate on a regular basis. I want to thank everyone who made thoughtful and generous contribution to my hospital fund - I have paid off part of my hospital debt *yay* and I couldn't have done it so fast without you. You have made my life much easier, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Also thanks for all the new subscriptions and for buying my cds! Finally, hey! Tell your friends!
